Skin fade

Not everyone wants it down to the skin. A taper or a low fade keeps it cleaner around the ears and the neckline; a mid or high fade moves the blend up for a sharper contrast. Tell us how high you want it, or let Marcos suggest what works with your hair.
Fade + line up
A fade with a clean line, or a fade with a shaved part, gives the cut a finished edge. You'll find both in our work. If you just want the lines refreshed between cuts, see line ups and eyebrows. Fade with the beard? That's the haircut + beard combo at $45.

Questions about fades
What's the difference between a skin fade and a taper?
A skin fade takes the sides all the way down to the skin before blending up. A taper is softer: it shortens gradually around the ears and neckline without going to bare skin. Both are $30 here. If you're not sure which one suits you, ask Marcos in the chair or on WhatsApp.
How often should I refresh my fade?
It depends on how fast your hair grows and how sharp you like it to look. Many clients come back every couple of weeks to keep the blend clean. If you only want the edges cleaned up between cuts, a line up is a quicker option. Ask us for the price on WhatsApp.
Can you match a fade from a photo?
Yes. Send the reference photo with your WhatsApp message when you book. Marcos will see the height and the blend you want before you sit down. If your hair type is very different from the photo, he'll tell you what will look closest and why.
Is a fade the same price as a regular cut?
Yes. A fade is a regular haircut on our price list: $30. If you add the beard, the haircut + beard combo is $45. Kids' cuts, fades included, are $25 from age 5. Line ups and eyebrows are priced separately: ask us on WhatsApp.
